Meet Dr. Hemken

Dr. Abigail Hemken has been practicing family medicine for over 13 years. Her training has taken her all over the world, with elective rotations in Mexico, Kenya and Zambia, volunteer service in Pakistan, and short-term trips supporting local doctors in both Egypt and Iraq. Opening a direct primary care clinic allows Dr. Hemken to expand her treatment options and to spend more time with her patients, two components of medicine she’s passionate about. From family primary care and functional medicine to COVID-19 care and weight loss management, she treats patients of all ages who are seeking individualized care.
